Rolling out the first HarmonyOS software update for Huawei MatePad 2022 [CN]
Today, Huawei confirmed the launch of another product – the Huawei MatePad Paper Ink tablet on March 16 in China. This is Huawei’s first E-ink display tablet, which has already debuted in the global market on February 27, 2022.
On March 16, Huawei will hold a New Product Spring Conference 2022 at home to unveil various smart devices, including the MatePad Paper Ink tablet powered by the HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system.
In addition to this, the company has announced the release of new Huawei P50 series models with new color options. However, there are many more products in Huawei’s pipeline, which are yet to be confirmed.
Talking about the Huawei MatePad Paper tablet, it comes with a screen size of 10.3, comes with a Hexa core processor, comes preinstalled with HarmonyOS 2.0, 4GB RAM, 64GB built-in internal storage, supports Huawei M-Pencil, and more.
Huawei MatePad Paper:
Huawei MatePad Paper sports a 10.3-inch E-Ink display with 1872 x 1404p resolution, 86.3 screen-to-body ratio. It spans 225.2mm tall x 182.7mm wide x 6.65mm deep and weighs around 360 grams.
This tablet is equipped with a Hexa core processor and offers 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and a 3625mAh battery that supports 22.5W charging. Besides, it has a reading lamp that supports 32-level brightness adjustment, intelligent refresh technology, and can achieve 256 grayscale effects.
It comes pre-installed with the latest HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system and supports a handover function between devices. Moreover, the tablet has 4 microphones, 2 speakers and the connectivity options are WiFi, Bluetooth, USB Type C, etc.
The MatePad Paper supports a second-generation Huawei M-Pencil that supports 26ms low latency, 4096 pressure sensitivity, handwriting, and voice-to-text input.
