OnePlus Nord Gets New Software Update With October Security Patch
The OnePlus North receives a new software update in India, Europe and North America. The latest update, arriving as OxygenOS 22.214.171.124, increases the Android security patch level of the phone until October 2021 and also includes general bug fixes.

OnePlus Nord users are advised to ensure that the battery level is above 30% and that a minimum of 3 GB of storage space is available before flashing the version.
As always, the update is being rolled out in batches and will reach a small percentage of users today. A larger deployment will take place in a few days if no critical bugs are found. To check for the update manually, go to Phone settings> System> System update.

Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC, the OnePlus Nord features a 6.44-inch Fluid AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz. For biometric authentication, the phone has a fingerprint sensor integrated into the screen.
The handset comes with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.1 storage and comes equipped with a 4,115mAh battery with support for Warp Charge 30T fast charging.
The OnePlus Nord has a quad rear camera system with a 48MP Sony IMX586 main camera, followed by an 8MP ultra wide-angle lens, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. The rear camera supports 4k video shooting at 30 fps, 1080P slow motion video at 240 fps, UltraShot HDR, Nightscape, among others. Up front there’s a Sony IMX616 16MP camera with EIS for selfies.
